Yes. They are small which is a basis for success. The history of man is more about communism than about isolation which is the the alienated price for capitalism. Look at the Iroquois and the five nations thereof. Look at the many many religious and and other cooperative ventures, called Utopian Socialisms, that have flourished and still do all over the USA and the world. What is your point? Capitalism is a recent development and an aberration in the history of civilization. The distinction that you seek seems to me to be concerned with competing nations, none of which are socialistic to the degree you describe. They are , all including the two most powerful the US and China, fascist states with little to distinguish their economies. They are run by coporations in every case. The US is the most advanced fascist state, the Europeans are the least as they have learned to control the corporations. It is a very large and interesting item for discussion. It has absolutely nothing to do with patriotism or any other made up diversion.
