I have been waiting 5 years for someone who is not ready. He told me when we first met that it would be 4 years, I would have to wait for his son to graduate highschool first. After 3 years, he said two more year, I would have to wait for his son to be settled into college. Now it has been 5 years his son is in college and he is telling me he has another four years. His son will not be able to graduate college in the typical 4 years. He will need an additional year to get it done, which means another 4 years. In 4 years it will have been 10 years since we met. Two years ago, I found myself another man. I waited almost four years before I figured out this man obviously will never be ready. Children always come first but only to a point. You need to decide who you want to be in a relationship. I now have a man who puts me first. I still love the other man but that does not give me what I need. It breaks my heart and makes me severely depressed. It is up to you to decide but in the mean time. Find another man who puts you first and appreciates every minute you allow him to be in your life.
