What do you do w/ rust stains on terrazzo floors?

I bought a house in which the previous ownes have put carpeting over the terrazzo floors.  When I pulled the carpeting up the tack strips left holes and rust stains where the nails had been.  How do I remove the rust stains and what do I fill the holes with to repair the damage.  Also with what product do you clean terrazzo floors?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.  Debbie in Orlando

To clean the rust stains try using CLR (calcium, lime, rust). Use it with one of those green coarse plastic scrubbing pads. Use gloves. After everything is rinsed, clean, and dry get some 2 part tintable epoxy. Mix and tint to the color of the terrazzo. What will work better, if you can find it or make it would be to add terrazzo dust to the epoxy and fill the holes. When dry, sand smooth. It may not look perfect, but it will depend on your skill level.
