Volvo 1985 760 GLE Turbo Diesel. Please elaborate on amy fuel economy ratings you have reached. I used to get 33MPG to 37.5MPG and wonder why this is not discussed as it is really grat fuel mileage. Please respond and include any of the criteria you had like; Mileage on car and engine, what the factory ratings were, hoe you achieved the mileage wether on highway or in town, speed driven, what happened to your vehicle, if you still drive it and what mileage you get these days. I would also like to talk to someone as why they don't have a high revolution/low compression diesel like this now. I think it was a low compression diesel as I remember but was wondering if that was true. I know that it had a Pre-ignition cup in the cylinder head as I rebuilt my engine from ground up. I remember it would redline at 5000 RPM which is really high for a diesel engine. Please respond to any of the above and leave the means for me to talk to you. MJM.
