I have a valid visa and passport(the old one expired but took out a new passport) and my permit of 3 months expired many years ago and im still in the U.S so my question is can I still travel inside the US?

You do not need a passport to travel within the US but you will have problems if you leave and want to come back in.
So I can get on a plane without any problem even though my permit to stay in the US for 3 months expired 8 years ago?? I'm planning a trip to Florida for two days and after that I leave the country.
