My H1B VISA Stamp on the passport is going to expire in the month if December 2008 and i am trying to get dates from Canada US Consulate for Re-stamping, i have an I-797 extension till 2011. My question is " Will it be possible to go outside of US with an expired VISA and come back, if i have a vaild I-797 and valid I-94 ( vaild till 2011) ?
