I got a F-1 at the US embassy in Rio for only 6 months. I came to US in order to study English at HCC and since I could stay as long I was studying (my I-20 was stamped D/S) I stayed instead of 6 months, one year. I went to Rio for vacation and I could not come back, even though my school gave me a new I-20 and a letter of good standing. I tried two times but was denied both. The second time they wrote something on my F-1 visa (I think, "canceled without prejudice"). I have a B-2 valid until 2012. Can I go to US as a tourist and get my belongs from teh apt I rented? What should I do? Thank you very much
