I am applying for L2 visa as dependent to my husband's L1 visa, what are my chances of getting a visa? Will I be allowed to work with L2 visa

Its is very likely for you to get L2 visa. Yes, you can work with L2Visa by taking a WorkPermit (EAD). See this link for details on EAD: http://www.immihelp.com/immigration/employment-authorization-document.html
