Can I view recent questions and answers from my contacts on Yedda? I mean only the new ones they posted since my last login.

Yes, click on their name, it's fairly self explanatory once you do that. :)
I should probably clarify...
I only want to see the activity of all my contacts since my last login, without having to click the name of each of them and without having to check the dates of the questions and answers
