Converting video to MPEG2 & MPEG4:
I'm looking for a good software tool that can convert videos to MPEG2 (TS preferred) or MPEG4, with options to control bit rate, PAL/NSTC, audio format, and even cutting scenes and editing the video stream.
I've used VLC, VideoReDo and still have problems...Premier isn't much good as well, so I'm really looking for a tool that can deliver pro results.

Ok, I've finally found the ultimate tool for video conversions:
SUPER - a very nice front end tool for ffmpeg (the best open source tool for video conversions). Lots of flexibility in configuration settings, and great results. As they say, they really give for free what others can't give for money.
Don't waste your money on those "DVD-to-PSP, DVD-to-iPOD , DVD-to-3GP" products - just use super and have the best results for free.
