In the near feature, I predict Sony releasing a firmware update that will support PS2 format software. Until then, use your PS2’s. Or, if you are a programmer, figure out how to make custom firmware so that it will be able too..
Your best option is still to use the actual PS2 console for PS2 games.
I don't think you can with the newer models. Sony realized they were not making enough money selling ps3 games if you could play ps2 games on them. But if you can get an older model ps3, they do play ps2 games on them. Try craigslist to see if someone has an older model they want to trade for your newer model.
