How do I treat a vaginal yeast infection in a dog without using perscription medications?

You could probably apply yogurt (plane, preferably goat or sheep milk), and put cranberry tablets in the dog's food on a regular basis, hoping she doesn't notice. But without sounding too judgmental, why do it? It's an itchy irritating kind of thin, and it probably drives her up the wall as it is, I say put some cream on it from your vet, and be done with the infection in three days.
