You can go to the "Explore" page. Over ther you will find on the right side a search place. Write the name, choose the pepole button, and search. Good day :-)

Crash, what you described is perhaps how it should work, unfortunatly it doesn't yet Frown

Currently the search box in Explore | People search for pepole who are interested the topic you specified.

We need to add support for searching by username / nickname / first / last name. We'll be doing this soon.
