1st qustion: Stacy should remember that a mother is a mother and she should respect her and accept her as she is. She gave birth to her..... She is 83 years old and she deserves that Stacy be more sensetive and considerative towards her. Stacy has to decide that she'll ignore whatever her mom says (Just say: "tnx mom").
2nd question: What the mother said is what she believes ( = those are her parardigmas). It doesn't matter if it's true or not, from her point of view that's the whole truth. Actually certain things that she say are true (others not).
