Why can't you hang out with both guys but at separate times? If neither have actually asked you to be his girlfriend, there's no harm in dating more than one guy at one time, as long as your open and honest about it.

Well I know things like that can be hard, but you should give this guy that you like who isn't your closer friend a chance first. Then if you break up you still have your friend to talk to. And if he is a real friend he will still like you no matter who you go out with. And maybe if that isn't the answer your looking for and your leaning more toward going out with your friend then think about. If we break up, will we still talk? Do I really look at him as boyfriend? Or what if it makes things akward. I know it;s hard to decide between a friend and a crush but sometimes you really do have to go with what your heart tells you.

The answer to your question is that your better off with your friend,the reason why I say that is because you know the friend better then anyone else.and you could probably trust him more then the other guy.and if you go out with the other guy you will probably lose your friend .
