I am not sure I can explain why I did this, but I did anyway - I've synced my entire Calendar to my NOKIA 6230 cell phone.
Worked great, except that now my phone gets really excited before each and every meeting, and notifies me about it.
How do I turn off the reminders? I'd love to keep my Calendar accessible through my cell, but I really don't want to be reminded. Especially not at 12am !
For one appointment this is easy - edit an appointment in outlook, tick off the "Reminder" box and the phone will not ring when appointment synced.
For several appointments you can program a small macro in VBA to tick off all the reminders for your appointments at a given range (or all of them). This will sync your appointments with no reminder to your phone.
