Wht do more people like Rap? cuz rap truly sucks ...

This is really a judgment call. You think it sucks, I think it rocks. Who is right? If you ask me, I am. But at least I have the decency not to tell you you suck.

I'll actually wage my money on the fact that you nothing about rap music or Black music at large, and you've probably based your opinion on two hits that you happened to catch. 

Lyrically it can be absolutely amazing.

I often get asked by people who haven't even bothered to look past the rap in the charts and when they hear somebody like Immortal Technique their opinion changes.

It depends on the person, different people are interested in different kinds of music, such as classical, jazz, rock, rap, country, screamo ext. If youdon't like rap it doesn't mean someone else has to not like it.

People like rap so much because most good rap songs tell a story about the hood.  whether its a story about the struggle in the ghetto or a rags to riches story.  Alot of people like yourself don't know that there are people in this country whose father is dead, in jail, or just gone and the mother is on crack.  now you have a innocent 13 year old that sees some thugs gettin money the so called easy way (selling drugs) and rather than crawling under a rock and starving to death, this 13 year old decides to get the money that his parents are not providing.  No its not the right thing to do, but its real.  did you ever see the movie trading places.  do you see how when you take everything away from a decent person, give it all to what society calls a indecent person. the characteristics of both people change.  rap talks about the struggle of some of these so called indecent people, who because of rap are now rich.  hence the term rags to riches.  thats all folks be sure to checkout
