I love books!
With the latest version of Firefox, I've been having problems with it crashing. I run a 64bit Vista system and it crashes almost everytime you close the browser.
To answer your question you need to make Firefox your default browser. Tools > Options > Advanced - and then select always check to see if Firefox is the default browser.
