Hoodia really worked well for me.  I didn't feel hungry but if I did decide to eat a healthy meal it did not make me feel full.  So you can easily over eat if you don't use the tried and true method of portion control.  It's a tool that helps you get away from bad eating habits.  Good eating habits and exercise = weight loss.  Why not use a little help along the way?
