Where would you travel to?

Where would you want to travel if you had the option to go wherever you want, for as long as you want?

Right now I am really fancing Portugal , I would go there  for a year live in a small village and drink wine and eat sea food all day long.

For a much more interesting destination I would pick Galapagos Islands and visit there for two weeks.

Hi there... Most definately, if I had the freedom to travel for as long as I wanted, and go wherever I wanted, I'd choose the Scandinavian countries or the Thai Islands of Ko Tao, Ko Samui, Ko Pangan.

As far as the Scandinavian countries goes, I lived in Finland for a whole year between 2001 and 2002 and I found it splendid. The Sauna culture it's something everyone should experience. The stunning beauty of those places then, the awesome isolation and the pure wilderness will leave you speechless. Mind you, if you suffer depression, stay away :)) I know quite a few people who could not take the lack of sun in the winter time or vice versa in the summer time. Actually, I think it's one of those places which has the power to really change you. I did change a lot there, for the best, and the striking beauty of nature did help a lot. The fact that I was left on my own, thinking about life, whatever matters the most etc. So, if you fancy some time on your own, I highly reccomend it!

Different thing: Thailand. Incredible place. Can be excitingly cool or sad, depending on what you do, what you seek, the way you perceive it... Personally, I had a lot of fun, strolling by, taking awesome pictures, discovering places I never dreamt of. All the Islands I cited above are pretty unique. Ko Tao is perhaps the wildest of all, perfect for hiking, if you're interested in that kind of stuff or diving. Ko Samui is more a paradise of fun... Beautiful hotels, restaurants, beaches. V crowded indeed!!

So, my friend, go and discover and keep dreaming!
