As an American Citizen; Do I need a Visa to travel to Italy, Monaco, and Austria for a 14-days Trip?

You haven't lived until you've traveled. 

I believe you need a visa if you are traveling outside of America. To be on the safe side, ask a local travel agent as they are bound to know since they sell vacation packages all across the world and can likely give you an answer.

No need to apply for Visa if you are going on Vacation to any city in europe in less than 90 days travel..
