17 year US citizen's passport expires on Aug. 5, 2008. He is traveling by land to Vancouver from WA on Aug 9, 2008 & is returning to NY on Aug 12, 2008 by air. Can he travel return on his expired passport & will he need any additional documents?

I'm thinking he will need additional documents. You should contact immigration before he leaves on this trip to find out what those documents are. Best of luck.
