Depends what you want to do but assuming you're going to spend some time in dublin city centre you should try to book your accommodation there as well to save on transport costs. Taxis are well known to be expensive in Dublin. Accommodation is much cheaper in Dublin at the moment so you could probably find a decent hotel for a decent price instead of having to go for a self catering or guest house option.
