If I understood you correctly you're looking for an event that will take place till the end of the year. My suggestion would be to go and enjoy Christmas somewhere. There are many countries that also have special festivals around Christmas such as Christmas festivals in Catalonia, Spain or Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year's Eve festival.

It's great fun to enjoy Christmas in a new place, especially if it's a white Christmas.
