I hate cheaters! WHO, wants to be on the receiving end of a dishonest relationship? The only time I would consider this to be acceptable is if both people decided to separate and see other people. Having said that, unless all parties involved (including the 3rd and 4th person) are told what they are getting themselves into, someone will end up disappointed and hurt. I don't recommend doing this to someone you care about. YOU could end up with a STD, pregnant or end up more unhappy than what you already are with your "best friend."
If you are unhappy, it's best to separate and try to live independently for awhile. After ending a relationship (whether by death, divorce or a best friend ending it), I don't recommend getting sexually involved with another person until you've had enough time to sort out your failed relationship and come to terms as to how you contributed to the breakup.
It takes two honest people to make a relationship work and only one dishonest person to end it. Be respectful of others, if you want them to respect you. Poor communication, lying and cheating will cause the failure of the relationship.
There is a lesson to be learned from each relationship. If it's not learned, I guarantee that it will REPEAT ITSELF in the next relationship! Ask yourself this. How many failed relationships would you like have during your lifetime? Most people know right from wrong, yet they often choose to do the wrong thing...WHY?
