Any thoughts about Obama's visit to Iraq?

Here we have a prime example of an activist media in full bloom.

McCain has been there 6 times and not one network anchorperson was on any of the trips.

Now, finally, Obama decides to 'visit' (his word not mine) and ALL 3 NETWORK ANCHORS will be along for the ride.

What we're going to see, folks, are political commercials for Obama disguised as news stories!

This is just flat-out wrong...and 'the Left' has a fit about Rush Limbaugh and the "Fairness Doctrine"....WHERE is the fairness here?

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

I have to give you credit. You are a die hard.

At least we agree on two things: Our vote will cacel each other's out and that you had a great lunch.Wink

I forgot to reiiterate something. Mr. John McCain, has one of the worst voting records when it comes to kids and women's issues. If it was up to John McCain poor children would noyt have Healthy Start medical insurance.

So change may cost money, but look at are deficit and how much money when continue to borrow and throw away.

My advice to the Republicans is as follows, it's been your eight years, now move aside and let the changes begin..........

Name me ONE thing Obama has done that comes close to the importance of either the McCain/Feingold act (campaign reform) of the McCain/Kennedy act (immigration reform).

Save your energy. I placed on here for Tippy ALL the bills that Obama has sponsored or co-sponsored.....NOTHING heavyweight.

The last time we changed from a Republican to Democrat president for the sake of "change" we ended up with Jimmy Carter & 26% interest rates, long gas lines, the halting of the SALT 2 talks and, oh yes, he really showed the world how mad we were with them, he boycotted the Olympics.

Kid & women's issues? God, get real! Yes, they are important but in the reality of TODAY'S world & state of affairs they are WAY down the totem pole. Taxes, Energy, the war, naming (possibly) 4 Supreme Cout judges, education have much more priority & backing right now, as they should.
