Man created all Gods in his image.I suppose the God man created is the God that he will look to for his judgement after death of flesh body.I have no God, nor do I have the desire to create one in my own image.I worship the creator of all things through co-evolution,co-creation and co-existence.In Flesh he is known as Jesus the Nazerene,In the natural body he is know as love,light and energy.I came from him I will return to him.My life in flesh began in Ethiopia  millions of years ago,my soul will finish this journey after death of flesh and once again reunite me with my Father who is in heaven

Do not group things in life together, see them as individual.

We will always get help from God, even if we are unaware of it.  To look for man to show you, well thats like religion, only we (the religious) know and that people is a lie, period.  So yes you can get to God with out even knowing of his existence.  Good question.
