So what do you think of the above

I was thinking that if I do move there is a difference of packing your clothes to move as opposed to switching back and forth twice a year. And here is what I mean: When you move you fold the clothes into boxes, then tape them up and move them to the new location and unpack slowly.  However, when I was switching I would take out the out-of-season clothes and put them on the bed in the den and leave them there until I took out the in-season clothes from the den closet and put them on the bed in my bedroom and then I hung up the in season in my room and hung up the out-of-season in the den.  It took a long time to do and it became a chore twice a year to the point I hated the changing of the seasons.

But I dont think my mom is going to move.  This apartment is rent controlled and guaranteed if they moved to a smaller apartment in this building the landlord will not give her a lower rent. And I never heard on the telephone with the renting office.  And she does this every time the lease is up.

Turn off the television and teach your children how to think.

VP, you are not asking anything. You are just telling us how you used to change your clothing around according to the seasons.

How many clothes you have and what you do with them is up to you. What your mother does about her apartment and/or your behavior is up to her.

I hope you are able to get your own place soon.

I would rather believe that there is a God, then not believe and find out there is.

I love the change of seasons. A suggestion, why don't you take the out of season clothes, and put them into a box, as if you were moving. That way they would not be laying on the bed. and if you do move, you know you'll have at least one change of season clothing ready to go. Then you'd only need to pack your in season clothes.
