Of course, fashion week promotes the businesses that pay for their products to be shown. That's the idea of it, isn't it?
It creates a lot of hype and gets lots of coverage. The designers always have some surprises, so yeah.

Fashion week definitely promotes businesses as well as new designers. It's a great opportunity for new clothing lines to "hit the streets" and for businesses to sell the newest lines. Whatever is worn that week on the runway is a sure sell-out for those looking to cash in on the new look for the season.
yep i strogly support the point as it giv exposures to buddin designer as well as models...and the advertising world also..

yes,it promotes business. people will realize that fashion is important because organizing a fashion week is not that easy, thus needs lots of planning.
