Do you think she is denying herself?

Do you think she likes me? i thought my best friend doesn’t see me in a romantic way but lately she been acting odd after I told her I had a crush on her during our high school life. she always been so flirty with me like giggle at me for no reason or whenever I make a stupid joke, sometimes I catch her looking at me with a smile and she will pick on me a lot to give her attention. she will even become really clingy toward only me like lean her head on me, and touch me a lot. And she text me mostly ever day about school how bored she is, how the teacher acting, and send me pictures of what ever and ask me how I am. (she in college) Two weeks ago she told me she might be bi curious and has unsure feelings for me. I ask her to explain what she meant and all she said is that she doesn’t know why she said it and that she afraid of my friendship if I or her get in a relationship with someone we won’t be close any more. I ask her do you like me and she said no only as a sister. So I’m confused is she denying her feelings or what? She can be flirty but sometimes it just friendly flirty and I can think into it too much so I don’t know am I just wishful thinking or is she just being a close friend?if she just see me as just a friend why does she text me about random stuff? btw we been friends for10 yrs, and i am a lez and we never had a serious long trem relationship with anyone yet.

This is hard.

Girls are able to develop very close, strong, trusting and deep relationships -- minus the sex. I have two friends that I text all the time and hang out with all the time and that I can honestly say I love... minus a sexual attraction.

If she confessed to you that she's bi curious it was probably because she was encouraged by your confession of your crush. Its flattering and interesting and she wanted to share with you.

My money is on that she told you she had unsure feelings for you because
1.) She's confused about her sexuality, and
2.) She trusts you enough to guide her through this, but
3.) Is NOT willing to risk your relationship if the answer is, "Gee... I guess I really do like boys after all."

You should support her decision to explore as a friend, and if she turns out to truly like both sexes, than that may open up for a serious relationship down the line. But right now, she's too confused to enter into a relationship with anyone.
