Trying to pick the "most civilized and intelligent" with the choices that you gave is most difficult a task. Each society that you listed brought a different set of values to the table which is recorded in the history of the world. My guess, if I had a choice, would be the Mayan's because they were keeping lockstep with the Egyptians and their pyrimids; the Greeks with their Philsosophy; and the list grows. So if you are asking me for my favorite, I would have to say all of them. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help, but I have read a number of history books and each civilization brought another important step to the betterment of humankind. Especially the first of twenty (I believe) where he traces from the very beginnings of the formation of society, the the civilized world, as much as the world can be civilized. I hope that you go to your library and order one book at a time because each one is humungus in size and contains a great deal of Wisdom. PEACE!!!
