There are many factors to this issue and it varies between different people. Drinking habits, food involved, physical structure etc. I'd rather play it on the safe side and not mix driving and drinking even if it's one beer.

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
It all depends.....  For a person who is used to drink 1 beer is not too much... but for a person who doesn't drink at all or drinks very seldom 1 beer could be much too much....
Best regards,

NOTICE: By the time you have noticed this notice, you will have noticed that this notice is not worth noticing.

This is a frequently asked question, at least to me.  Scientifically speaking, the consumption of one beer will not (of course) raise your blood alcohol level to the usually accepted legal level of 0.08%.  However, if the cops find you with an open container of any alcohol in your car, you can be arrested.  (At least, in Texas. they can.).  Furthermore, MADD (mothers against drunk driving), and some other organizations, including some respected scientific organizations say that

any concentration of alcohol in your blood will impair your reflexes, and cause you to be a little slower in the case of emergencies.  To be 100% safe, you shouldn't drink anything before driving.

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

I absolutely think one drink is too much for anyone, no matter if it's a 320 pound football player who drinks 10 beers a day or a female high school student who's never had a drink in her life. The fact is, there are too many distractions for people when driving and adding even an ounce of alcohol increases one's chances of getting into a car accident (over 500% increase!).
