I am trying to find out how to make a broth I used ...

i am trying to find out how to make a broth I used to eat over rice when I was a kid.....it was a brown colored broth with whole, peeled hard boiled eggs in it....friends family was from Thailand....it was a mild soup....hope someone has a clue  thanks,   sue
