I've heard that some pundits are going to start calling the tent cities popping up everywhere "Obamavilles." Of course, President FDR was able to shift the attention from his failing policies to President Hoover. The sites people were living in aside our highways were called "Hoovervilles. Doesn't President Obama's half-brother live in a van down by the river?
If tent cities pop up everywhere, shouldn't they be called Bushvilles? Obama has been in office for 100 days, while Bush was President for eight years.
Be Blessed.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.
Right on fiona!!!!
You go girls! Fiona, Tippy. You proved my point. They're going to be called Bushvilles. Who knew?
