Cant tell if my mail has been read

I use a free aol e mail account, and my available options have recently changed. I no longer have the option to view message status in the Action menu.

Can I change it back?

AOL Mail - Community Support Team

The status feature was removed from webmail with the most recent release.  It is still available if you are using AOL 9 or AOL Desktop software.  You can read more about this and other changes on the
