We dated 26 yrs ago. I called him we met and he called me and asked what I was doing. I told him I was going to do some work on my floors he said he knew how to do and he could help and not charge me. I thought oh great, not so great now he thinks I am his girl. He will work so late that he won't go home, because he has been drinking, He made friends with the neighbors. I put a stop for him to come over my house I will finish the work however I can, I don't want to lead him on. He left tools and uncompleted work. How do I go about this. I have been rude to him I told him to get out of my way, his feelings were hurt but three days later he calls back like nothing. I thought I could let him finish the job but he didn't he only started another one. I have ceramic floors to complete and a large cement walkway. I don't want him to think I am ungreatful. I did pay him some money. What I want him to do is leave me alone. Without hurting his feelings. If we could remain platonic friends would be great.
