This tea is turning me on

I know this is going to sound funny, but I’m going to ask it anyway. As I sit here at the computer I am enjoying a cup of decaffeinated tea with honey and lemon. I kid you not when I say that the smell of this tea is turning me on. Is there anything in tea, honey, or lemon that is said to do that?

Turn off the television and teach your children how to think.

Hi JQNA, thanks for the invite to your question.

As the others have suggested, it is possible that the aroma of your tea arouses subconscious memories which have the effect you describe.

It's also possible that the honey has something to do with it - as honey is widely thought to be a natural aphrodisiac.

My suggestion is for you to have another cup of tea and then go hunt up your wife.

Mr.Jqna,  I don't think so.  I don't like tea, and I don't like anything lemon.  So no turn on for me.  By any chance are you flipping through a Playboy magazine as you are sipping your tea?

It has been scientifically proven that the most arousing fragrance for men is a combination of pumpkin pie and lavender.  If the tea was herbal or cinnamon flavored, perhaps it did the same thing for you.  Or, maybe it is a memory response from a time you were drinking tea and then had a wild time.  Or . . . . . . you could just be really strange or maybe just really sexaully frustrated??  Tongue out

Skitch,  I didn't know that about the pumpkin pie and lavender.  I make pumpkin pies and a lot of pumpkin bread this time of year.  My house smells great when I am baking.  Too bad my hubby isn't at home when I bake.  Maybe I better start doing my baking in the evening when he is home.

Or smear pumpkin pie all over your body.  That might work, too.

Skitch,  You're pretty smart for an otter.  Maybe I should spread some all over hubby's body too.  I love pumpkin anything.

It's possible that the aroma of the tea is the cause. Gee, you're easily aroused.
