Can I use my new Israeli driving licence in Switzerland and Germany without an International driving licseence?
I've just dealt with this question a few days ago concerning driving in Italy. Personally, I think the whole international license issue is a big fraud. It is just another way to charge and collect money from the public. Every time I drove in Europe before and had a license check, the officer didn't even take the international license, just the magnetic card. The same thing goes true for the car rental agency. Nonetheless,
I personally know its a problem if you commit a driving offense without one.
Its cheap and lasts for a year just do it.
