I had surgery on 2/1 - a knee replacement. Post ...

I had surgery on 2/1 - a knee replacement. Post surgery revealed a very tiny pulmonary embolism. I am currently on cumadin becase of that and was told I would likely have to take the cumadin for 3-6 months. I also must wear compression hose on both legs - do I need to wear these things 24/7/7 for as long as I am taking the cumadin? My surgeon and GP and a Pulmonologist who got involved all seem to have different answers.

There is never a single answer in medicine. The compression hose is meant to stop more clots from forming in your leg veins and causing more trouble. Perhaps the Cumadin is enough but I would say that you're better safe than sorry in this case.

Then again if you feel that the doctor telling you, you don't need to wear them is trust worthy then I don't see why you shouldn't listen to him.
