Hi,
The suprime court is generally located in the capital but it is not compulsary.  South Africa has 3 capitals: State capital (Pretoria / Cape town), Economical capital (Johanessburg), snd Juridical capital (Bloomfontein).

It doesn't have to. 

Although the Netherlands' official capital is Amstersdam, the dutch supreme court is situated i the Hague, which is the seat of the dutch government, though not the capital city.
