Ok, let’s see where should I start? I don’t know how old you are but this sounds as if you might be very young and she is as well. I think what you once had might of been either a great thing or puppy love. It doesn’t matter what world either one of you come from as long as both of you are secure in who you are and who you want to be with. If she listens to what her parents say than you are fighting a losing battle. I know you think you are in love with her and you might very well be. I was in-love with my husband for 9yrs before I married him. He was a mama's boy who when tugged by whom ever he went and it crushed me. I thought I could get over him and even did attempt to go on with my life. Truth be known if they didn’t look like him, walk like him and talk like him I didn’t want them.
Now to tell you how I fixed this. I made up my mind that I love me and I was a great person. So in short I became important to me and when someone sees you are secure then they start to realize what you knew all along. You must set boundaries and be an adult about every situation you enter. That old saying "If you love something than let it go if it comes back it is yours if it doesn’t than it never was" It is true! You can’t force anything or anyone to be with you, love you or care for you the way you deserve.
So this is how it goes from here. You have lived a year without her by your side every step of the way. So you are capable of making your own decisions, paying your own bills, washing your own clothes, feeding yourself and so on. Truthfully dude if she wanted to be with you she would and if you tell her that you are moving on with your life and she begins approaching you then you validate it was her and she was playing head games with you. Now next question is do you really want to be with someone who would do that to you?
I am a woman and am here to tell you if she loves you than she would be there and you wouldn’t be writing us or if she loves you and wont stand up to her family than you already lost. Go on with your life and find someone that loves you for real no matter the statue!!!
