You can, but it's going to make any larger parts of yourself look HUGE. I am curvy (size 14) and if I were to wear a skinny jean, my lower half would look like a triangle...Ample butt and thighs, down to small ankles. A straight leg jean is much more flattering.
Skinny jeans fit really close to the anchel and tend to make the hips look bigger then what they are. I'd recremend ( depending on height over 5'3) a leg with a slight flair. ( Under 5'3) Boot cut or just regular strait leg jeans. You can still show off the butt with a little tighter fitt around the butt, but keep it comphy and loose so your not making the tummy seem bigger. I'm a size 18, and I found the most comphy and flattering I have found is Steve And Berry's with a slight flair. But it's proven that strait or boot cut will make a person look taller.
