Is my stress detrimental to my health?

I am at a really stressful point in my life right now and I know that too much stress can be really bad for you. What can I do to help me relax? How do know if I have good or bad stress?

I feel like good stress is an oxymoron, don't you? I mean, stress in general has a negative connotation, no? I think it's imporant that when we feel stressed out, we know how to relax ourselves. I learned some really great relaxation techniques from a good friend of mine that you can read about here.

Good stress can make you feel a little motivated, bad stress is stress that drags on for too long, keeps you awake at night, or just makes you feel, well, stressed :)  If you're starting to wonder if your stress is good or bad, that means it's probably bad.  There are lots of things you can do for

stress relief.  Try a few different techniques and see what works for you - it could be meditation, relaxation CDs, exercise, or herbal remedies.  If you're really worried though, see a doctor before the stress really does get too serious.

Im so sorry your so stressed out and I find it hard to believe it can be good for you im saying no! examine your life take a second look at the things that make you unhappy and seriously walk away from them and i know some things we cant walk away from but some things we can correct them and walking away can be our last choice get some choices in your life you can choose if you want to be happy yourself take action dont accept stress as your ruler say no to stress. how is your spiritual life has anyone ever talked to you about god in your life. I accepted jesus christ into my life I found a good bible believing church and learned of him I now believe that one day when I die I will go to heaven as the bible tells me you can to what have you got to lose? all that stress. believe this my friend its so true. god bless.

 

Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life. This isn’t as easy as it sounds. Your true sources of stress aren’t always obvious, and it’s all too easy to overlook your own stress-inducing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It depends with stress you are having, but before handling that kind of health threat you have to know first how to handle it having and using the different effective methods to relieve the stress. Cheap spa days will be the best thing to take for it.
