I agree Sparky's mom and thanks for the nice compliment.  I stand corrected, indeed it does, however I take a different take on it than you.  I believe it means every one of us has the right to pursue happiness and all but the burden still remains in the grit and gumption of the individual. 

We can make or break or lives, we can live lives that break others, we can never understand where we stand on anything and some never stand for anything at all.  There are so very many variables.  We are not all born Rockefellers, quit frankly I am damned glad because I do not respect them, but we are all born free in this country to learn, to go after with a hell bent fury those things that Rockefeller and all those smelly fellows have.  We can go to school, read books, have a great command of the English Language, learn another language, study our founding fathers, our Constitution our Bill of Rights, we can educate ourselves on the gracious things in life, the inspiring words of those who have gone before us, we can reach out, it may not be the job we want but many times it is the job we need, we can grow everyday in everyway, we can become compassionate to the lesser creatures, take the time to mesh with our environment, care about it and others, we can become all we can be and the best we can be.

Yes that opportunity is available to all born here but many either ignore it, never pursue it or just give up for whatever reason and God knows there are many reasons people give up.  As I said we are not all born Rockefellers and life is difficult, sad, painful maybe unbearable, but even those suffering Spirits have risen up, taken flight and achieved against all odds.  Justice Thomas, Abraham Lincoln, the list is endless.

If it can be dreamed it can be achieved.
