If pork is frozen and set out to thaw, then put in the refrigerator, what is the amount of time you need to cook it in?

I would defiantly say no more than three days...there are harmful bacterias that can build up on raw meat, whether its covered or not. By the time you start to smell it, you are too late (I wouldn't take the chance)...Soo, cook it as quickly as you can and then you can store it for up to a week, at least. And if its a massive pork then whatever you know you wont use just freeze it : )
