I had never liked the phrase 'world of computers' as most of the world doesn't use computers or any other mean of data storage. 

Regarding your question- The answer is quite simple : people have to think twice, check again their documents before they click the printer icon, and yes, even print on both sides of the page. It arises from a more basic problem - the "Instant mode" of our days. everything has to happen promptly and if they don't they are considered as useless or inefficiant .
