I don't understand your question. In what way do you mean the 'loss of the I-phone'?
I take it you mean safeguard/secure your iphone?
In "settings", go to "general" then to "autolock" and "passcode lock"
Adjust these so that your phone automatically "locks" each time you finish using it.
No-one can use it without entering the correct four digit passcode.
After several incorrect entries the data on the phone is destroyed I believe.
