Have you stayed at the Great Huts in Jamaica & how was the humidity?

I'm seriously considering staying at the Great Huts on Boston Beach, in Port Antonio, Jamaica next August for my 30th wedding anniversary. The place looks grand & the huts are unique but it doesn't sound like it has air-conditioning. I went there to Jamaica in 2003 & it was hot & somewhat humid but I could dip in the water if it got to be too much. But I was on a cruise, so I slept on the ship & was wondering if I'd be wilting during the night at Port Antonio.

Has anyone stayed there & how did the humidity affect your rest? Thanks!

I haven't stayed there but I think it'll get quite humid. With that being said I'm not sure I wouldn't go there because of the humidity. As you said you can jump into the water to cool off if you get too hot.
