I don't know a little about everything, but I do know a lot about some things!

Purchase a can of "Static Guard" (blue & orange spray can) and your problems are over. Just spray the clothes lightly after they come out of the dryer, and presto ... no more static.

The only drawback is that your clothes might have a slight "vinegary" odor for a few minutes, but just let them hang in the open for 15 minutes, and the odor disappears.

It's distributed in Canada by Alberto-Culver, but I've purchased cans of it in the USA when traveling.

GIVE a man a fish and you feed him for a day. TEACH a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

SADLY, most fishermen are afraid to touch the worm.

There is an anti-static spray in the clothes washing (soap, softener, etc) at your grocery store. I use it for some of my reloading (ammunition) machines. It's designed for women's clothing.

If you want to go for the budget friendly way, you may want to try 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/2 vinegar.

1. Fill the washing machine with water

2. add the baking soda and then the clothing

3. During the final rinse cycle, add the vinegar (pour into the softener dispenser if your washing machine has one)

and voila, you have fresh smelling, non static and supersoft fluffyness without the cost! :)

Enjoy!

I'll give the budget-friendly way a try with the next load of wash. If it works, it will definitely be the cheaper way to go. Thanks.
