Often, I will be completely not hungry and then suddenly, I'll be starving, as in I feel like I'll pass out if I don't eat something. I don't understand why this happens. Any suggestions?
I'm not a doctor, but my son has something very similar to this, but his hands would also start to tremble and he would appear a bit glazed if he didn't eat something. The problem is low blood sugar. His doctor recommended frequent small, high protein meals to keep his blood sugar regulated throughout the day. Make sure any carbs you eat are low glycemic.

amazing how many people can make a diagnosis without seeing a patient.

I'm curious. It has been a few months with us guessing on this question and dreadlocks never filled in the details. I wonder if a physical examination ever did happen.
Sounds like you need a complete blood sugar analysis. Even though there is a great difference in low blood sugar, and high blood sugar - - often symptoms are much the same, and I'm betting that your problem is sugar related. Don't put it off - see your doctor soon.
You need to probably make sure that you eat a healthy breakfast everyday and small healthy meals every three hours all day until about 2 hours prior to you bedtime. This will certainly eliminate the starving feeling. Eat even when you are not that hungry...a small apple or a 6 oz yorgurt should suffice.
